Your visit

  • Please bring your ID, medical history documents, your insurance card (if applicable), and a form of payment. If you have any recent dental x-rays, please bring them as well or email them to concierge@terradental.nyc.

  • We allocate enough time to provide thorough care while making sure you’re comfortable. We dedicate 75 minutes for a cleaning and exam, 30 to 45 minutes for a consult, and 90 minutes for teeth whitening. We start on time nearly 100% of the time because we know your time is valuable. Even better, if you arrive early, we’ll make every effort to start early and get you back to your day!

  • Absolutely! We know it’s hard to plan ahead sometimes, so we allot additional time for our providers to treat for walk-ins.

  • If you need urgent care, please call us at 212-937-1079 or email us at concierge@terradental.nyc and we will do our best to accommodate. We cannot guarantee appointments but will do everything in our power to help you out!

    Please note there is a $50 rescheduling fee if it’s within 48 hours of the appointment.

  • Reschedule or cancel for free up to 48 hours before your visit.

    For last minute reschedules, there is a $50 reschedule fee.

    For last minute cancellations, we charge:

    • $75 for an exam, consult or orthodontic appointment

    • $150 for a dental treatment appointment

    If you don’t cancel your appointment, there is a $200 no-show fee.

  • Out of pocket cost depend on whether or not you have dental insurance, who the insurance carrier is, your specific coverage, and the services you receive. If you call beforehand with your insurance info, we can provide you with a very close estimate. If you don't have dental insurance, the initial visit, which consists of a check up, x-ray, and standard cleaning, costs $450, a filling typically costs between $300 to $600, and a professional whitening treatment starts at $800. We value transparent pricing, so if you have any other questions, give us a call and we'll let you know upfront so there are never any surprises.

Our pricing

  • Your first visit, which consists of a cleaning, check up, and x-ray, costs $450.

  • Out of pocket cost depends on your insurance. Without insurance, a tooth-colored (composite) filling typically costs between $300 to $600 depending on the complexity of the case.

  • Our professional in-house teeth whitening starts at $800. We use Philips, the leading brand for professional whitening, and KoR whitening, a specialized high-end treatment that uses a proprietary process to deliver deep, long-lasting results.

  • A crown, typically used to support tooth structure when a tooth is compromised, can cost anywhere from $1800 to 3500 depending on the tooth location and material used. The 3 types of materials we recommend are E-Max, porcelain, and Zirconium, for their aesthetic and price-to-value benefits. Call us to discuss what is the right choice for you!

  • We do not charge additional for consultations! They are a part of our routine patient comprehensive exams.

Our services

  • Yes! We use the latest cutting-edge technology for tailor-made clear aligner treatments, which shows you a 3D full-facial post-treatment outcome before you make any commitments. Treatment time typically ranges from 6 to 18 months but we will provide you with options so you can pick based on your needs.

  • We see all patients over the age of 14. For children under 14, we are happy to recommend excellent pediatric dentists in the area. Give us a call at (212) 937 1079.

  • Our in-office teeth whitening process is full service, full stop. We will prepare you ahead of time and provide instructions to manage sensitivity post-treatment. Rest assured, any sensitivity would be temporary and would not have a negative impact on your teeth. We’ll perform a complimentary assessment ahead of time to tailor the right type of whitening and bleach concentration for you. Insurance and payment options

  • Yes, you can!

  • We do offer financing options for major treatments. For Invisalign, we have an in-house 12 month interest free program.

    For large treatment cases, we have several financing options. Ask us when you come in to learn more.

  • Yes, we accept most PPO insurances! We do not take Dental HMOs, Medicaid, Healthplex, and Emblem. Our team will handle all the back-and-forth with the insurance companies so you don’t need to worry about a thing! We are happy to help you check your benefits if you give us a call at (212) 937 1079.

  • No problem! We offer Fee For Service and Membership Plans (see below). Since we’re out of network, our pricing is generally lower than in-network dental clinics (we don’t have to pay the middlemen)! We’ll let you know the pricing options upfront and take payment prior to service. We take cash, check, debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, and more. We make it as easy as buying a cup of coffee, as it should be!

Terra Membership

  • We value our loyal patients and understand everyone has different oral health needs. We tailored our membership plans to your needs and they provide exceptional value for the price. Since we are non-contracted, we can offer higher quality care and use the highest-grade materials without constraints.

  • At Terra, we strive to better align our pricing structure with the value our services bring to patients. We pioneered the Annual Allowance for our Premium and VIP members to cover minor treatments that may come up throughout the year or that they would like to try. We want our members to view coming to Terra as a full service oral wellness experience as opposed to transaction-oriented visits. Annual allowances will be refreshed at the beginning of your annual membership but do not rollover from the previous year.

  • We offer our members one modification per year between plans. If you choose to upgrade, not only will your new benefits be available immediately, we will credit the pro-rated remaining value on the original plan from the new annual price. If you choose to downgrade, you will be charged and your new plan will begin at the end of your current plan’s period.

  • We are sorry to hear that! If you have any concerns please let our team know and we will work effortlessly to make your experience better.   • No, but you are always welcome to pay per visit. Our membership plans are on an annual basis to better align with the frequency of oral check ups. Unlike insurances, our membership plans goes into effect immediately without the hassle of sign up or waiting periods. You can sign up for a plan during your visit and immediately use your benefits!
